Jane worked at Detroit Edison for 38 years. In the earlier years of her career, she was involved with the Edison Ski Club and the Edison Golf Club. She made many good friends among her colleagues and kept in touch with several of them throughout the years. Jane's sister Virginia also worked at Edison before she married (in 1957). The Edison newsletter, Synchroscope, published an article in 1954 about Jane and Virginia and their many interests (one of the pictures is posted in the Gallery). Jane's final position at Edison was as an analyst in their disaster recovery group. She retired in 1987.
